DEREK PETERSON
Derek’s career path, from the music industry to real estate, has been driven by a passion for connecting with people. After a successful 10-year stint in Los Angeles working with industry giants like Capitol Records, Live Nation, and Ticketmaster, Derek moved to Austin in 2012, ready for a new adventure. His background negotiating record deals, publishing deals, and touring contracts provided a strong foundation for his real estate career, perfectly blending his business acumen with his desire to serve others.
With over $50 million in gross sales under his belt, Derek has proven himself to be a patient, loyal, and fiercely dedicated advocate for his clients. He operates with the highest level of honesty and integrity, skillfully navigating complex deals and ensuring his clients achieve the best possible outcomes. When he's not working hard for his clients, Derek cherishes time with his family and enjoys staying active through running, volleyball, weightlifting, and basketball. TAMARA SUITER
Tamara is a licensed Realtor in Austin, partnering with her husband, Derek, to help clients find their dream homes. Her passion for real estate began at a young age, accompanying her parents to countless open houses and resales, learning the ins and outs of the market. It was no surprise she later married a real estate agent.
As the only Deaf female Realtor in the Austin area and a native ASL signer, Tamara is deeply committed to serving the Deaf community's unique real estate needs. She understands the importance of confidentiality within the Deaf community and goes above and beyond to protect her clients' privacy. Her experience as Vice President of the Texas School for the Deaf Foundation Board, along with her fundraising and community engagement work at Gallaudet University, has provided her with a deep understanding of the Deaf community in Austin.
